Tonight either Caleb Johnson or Jena Irene will be crowned the winner of American Idol 2014. Both contestants are deserving of the title, but it will come down to who has more fans. To be honest, they both have some pretty big fanbases out there and we have seen them support them no matter what they say or do on American Idol Season 13! Unlike some of the more recent seasons, the American Idol 2014 first place and second place winners may be an extremely close race. Jena’s Best Performances
I know the producers want to make her into this pop/rock artist, but there is nothing better than when Jena Irene takes a seat at that piano! I will pick two of her performances where she did just that. When I heard Jena was taking on Elvis Presley I was worried, but no need to be worried with a performance like this!
The piano continues for her “Creep” performance. She is just so good when she sits down, slows it down and just sings. Amazing job!
Caleb’s Best Performances
The American Idol judges 2014 had been wanting to see more emotion out of Caleb and to slow it down, which is what he did and did beautifully with this performance. He nailed it the first time he performed it!
Even with doing so well on the slower song, Caleb is a rocker and that can be seen clearly when he performed “Dazed and Confused” back during Top 9 Week. He nailed it again last week, but this is just so darn good!
